Borderlands 2 Review 

 

Borderlands 2 is an absurdly fun FPS. I know the title FPS can turn some people off, I don't like typical FPSs that much either but this game is incredible and you owe it to yourself to check it out. The defining features that makes this game different from other FPS's it is competing with are its RPG elements, story, and its massive overworld. This game has four playable classes and a couple of others available as DLC. The classes all have unique stats and abilities as well is three different skill trees allowing muiltiple play styles for each character. Earlier I had mentioned that this game has a massive overworld, but I did not mention that it is filled to the brim with sidequest to complete. One of the best parts of this game is that every single sidequest is completely differnent making them a joy to complete rather than tedious padding to make the game appear more fleshed out than it actually is. Loot is another big part of this game. I can't explain in words how fun it is to explore the world, do sidequest, or fight bosses to get stronger and rarer loot. This game is awesome and is full of replay value making it worth its asking price if you ask me.
